The Traditional Japanese Sword Arts School of Madison offers instruction in the art of Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto-Ryu. We are linked to this ancient art through direct association to Sugawara Budo in Tokyo, Japan. (Click here to read about the history of our dojo.) Our training consists of: Iai-Jutsu and wooden weapons training. The Traditional Japanese Sword Arts school of Madison practices twice a week; Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 and Saturday from 12:30 to 3:00.
